Hi I'm Lauren Hankinson the second generation Hankinson here at Hanksters. I've been around cars, racing and all things automotive practically since birth. Being around the business all my life, I started working summers here at my dad's business when I was a teenager detailing cars in the shop. Now that I'm out of college I work here full time as the Multimedia Production & Marketing Manager, this also includes the Social Media of the company. My job is to upload every car to our website along with a detailed video I create so customers can see each and every detail of the car without actually being here at the showroom. I also create our newsletters and send them out to our mailing list to notify subscribers that a new car is now on our site. Being a second generation in the business and having the opportunity to work alongside my dad is truly an awesome experience.

My name is Rich Tirak. I joined the team at Hanksters Hot Rods in 2017. I have been around cars or in the automotive business in some capacity for the last 20 plus years of my life. I started at the age of 16 at my first dealership stocking shelves in the parts department. At the age of 18 I accepted a position with that dealership as the shipping and receiving / inventory control manager and eventually moving up to assistant parts manager. At that time in 1997 we had a 4 million dollar parts inventory, we were the fourth largest GM parts distributor in the country and distributed parts locally with 22 delivery trucks as well as shipping parts across the entire country. In 2001 I purchased my first of two Snap-On Tool Franchises which I owned and operated for 12 years selling professional automotive tools and equipment to and servicing automotive dealerships, independent automotive repair shops, body shops and restoration shops among others. At that same time I also owned a 3 bay independent automotive repair facility for 7 years. Most recently I worked at a larger independent used car dealership where I was hands on in all aspects of dealership operation including sales, service, finance and marketing. I believe we have something very unique at Hanksters Hot Rods of Daytona. I am very excited for this opportunity and to be part of an awesome team. Please stop in to either one of our locations to view our extensive collection of classic cars and to meet our team in person!

Kellen Fleming - Multimedia Production / Showroom - FL.

- kellen.hanksters@gmail.com

Hello, my name is Kellen Fleming, originally from Eastern Kentucky. Following my high school graduation in 2006, I relocated to Central Florida. My passion for automobiles dates back to my childhood, culminating in my professional journey as an Automotive Technician. I earned my associate’s degree in automotive technology from Seminole State College through the GM ASEP Program and subsequently spent 10 years as a dealership technician, working with both GM and Mazda. After a decade as a technician I was seeking a new career direction, I turned to my lifelong hobby of photography and videography, which garnered positive feedback when shared online. That motivated me to transition this passion into a profession, I returned to Seminole State College to pursue further education in Video and TV Production, to refine my skills. My pursuit paid off when I secured a Media Producer role at a central Florida classic car dealership. Unfortunately, after 3 years that establishment closed, I then seized the opportunity to join the team at Hanksters Hot Rods Daytona Beach for their open Media Position. My responsibilities include capturing photos and videos of our inventory, ensuring our website and YouTube channels offer customers an immersive and detailed view of our offerings.

Shop Foreman / Hanksters Garage - FL.

Dave.hanksters@gmail.com

Hello - my name is David Gliksman, and I am excited about this new journey with Hanksters Hot Rods and the talented team of technicians in South Daytona. Like most of the guys you meet in roles like mine, I have been turning wrenches since I was a kid. My grandfather was a mechanic and gave me my first Snap-on toolbox. I disassembled and rebuilt everything from the family TV to bicycles and even swapped an engine in a rusty old GTO by the age of 15. My parents had different plans for my life, so I attended the Manhattan School of Printing after high school and spent the first part of my career running a commercial printing company with my wife. While it's true that I have ink running through my veins, that muscle car passion is hard to quiet, so I traded in my Heidelberg presses for a (much) larger Snap-on tool box and started officially restoring classic cars in south central PA.  Eventually the salt life bug bit my family and we found ourselves living in Daytona Beach with a growing Pontiac collection. One tour of Hanksters showroom and I knew I had to be part of this team. If you've never toured the showroom yourself and like me, you have a love for classic muscle cars, the drive to a Hanksters showroom will not disappoint.
